Dr. Aimee Schindler, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Aimee Schindler joined our practice in December 2023 and has been practicing as an audiologist since 2002. She has worked in private practice, ENT offices and a hospital setting. Before going back to school for audiology, she worked as a sign language interpreter in an educational setting. She has a passion for working with veterans and helping people improve their quality of life through better hearing.
Dr. Schindler married her husband, Paul, in 2019. They are active in competition BBQ and compete many weekends throughout the year. They also enjoy spending time cruising in Mexico, where they enjoy scuba diving. They have three cats who keep them busy at home. Dr. Schindler is also very close to her identical twin sister, Jaimee.

Dr. John Balbo, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. John Balbo has 45 years of experience practicing audiology. Ten of those years was working at the VA, another ten years were at King’s Daughters Clinic and 20 years in private practice at Balbo Hearing Clinic. He has experience in all aspects of audiology, including hearing testing, hearing aid fitting, rehabilitation and balance testing.
Dr. Balbo fell in love with audiology while in college. He was a psychology major and had the opportunity to help hearing-impaired patients on rotation, which inspired him to change majors. He has a passion for helping people hear better and teaching patients about balance and aural rehabilitation.
Outside of work, Dr. Balbo enjoys golf, fishing and gardening.

Dr. Benjamin Brindley, MD
Doctor of Medicine
Dr. Brindley was born in Galveston and raised in Waco. Dr. Brindley’s father and uncle were both otolaryngologists, and he was lucky enough to practice with his father and learn from his experience treating central Texans.
After completing residency in Iowa, Dr. Brindley moved to the Plano area. He initially worked independently, then worked in a couple of ENT practices and a medical group before joining AnyPlace Audiology. While at these locations, Dr. Brindley provided general ENT services to both pediatric and adult patients. His areas of interest include pediatric patients and sinus surgery. He enjoys the variety of ENT patients, from simple pediatric cases to more complex adult concerns.
Outside of work, Dr. Brindley and his wife like to travel and see the world; they enjoy trying new foods and new restaurants. Together, they have two young children who are at the forefront of their activities, although Dr. Brindley does love to ski and visit the mountains when he can.

Alysa Bedwell
Office Coordinator
Alysa is our knowledgeable Office Coordinator. While in school, she took several medical courses and was an active participant in HOSA. Through her coursework she obtained several certifications including CPhT and CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant).
Before joining AnyPlace Audiology, Alysa was a Recruiting Admin Assistant for our sister company AnyPlace MD and a Staffing and Credentialing Coordinator for Dental Health Management Solutions. These roles gave her experience with provider credentialing, scheduling, project management, administrative functions, and overseeing clinic operations. Alyssa enjoys meeting people from all walks of life and hearing their stories.
In her free time, Alysa enjoys art and crafting. She can be found working on a DIY project, at a local coffee shop, or exploring the newest art exhibit or pop-up market.
